How to setup Push Notifications in WordPress with One Signal?

To install a plugin go to Plugins menu click on Add New button and search for this name “One Signal – Web Push Notifications”.

Now a new menu is added to the left sidebar of your dashboard in the admin area. Click on the “One Signal Push”

Here in the Account setting part, you have to insert the App id and API key which you got after creating the app on One Signal website.

For adding safari web id go back to the One Signal website and click on the edit button in front of Apple Safari, You will be prompted a popup in the popup you have to insert your blog URL and Icon which is not necessary the moment. The icon can be uploaded after you have a ready 256*256 icon.

When you click once again on the edit icon you will be given your Safari web id and you can copy it and use in the plugin field of safari web id. Keep the rest setting to default and click on Save Button.

To see the new push notification you can check your blog on the new private window and you will be asked to opt-in for push notifications and if you allow you will get new notifications whenever new content or post will be released from the specific blog or website. You can opt in the subscription any time by going to settings of your web browser.
